Summer Meadow Empty Summer Meadow

Summer Meadow Cotton-grass-in-Landmannalaugar-Iceland

Summer Meadow is basically a meadow that reminds us most of home. Often Finnic members will come down from Bone mountain at Dusk and watch the Cotton Grass Balls float to the sky, as the ground turns red. Or, in the morning they'll come down only to bask in the sun after the cold night.

Summer Meadow Empty Re: Summer Meadow

Post by Danny Thu Dec 11, 2014 3:43 pm

Surgeing with energy, the Head Misko yapped happily at the thought of returning home. Her lonely, large home. She stared at the large mountain before her as the piebald-looking femmora sat, so down below as the ground turned dark and the sky danced with colors, soon to be covered with billions of stars. She had no fear of danger. Although she was alone at that moment, her heart thought of a presence inside of her, as if there were others nearby. She heard a distant shriek of a Dovin, and the sound covered her peacefullness and made fear come back, but only do to the sound. They were close. Real Close. She bursted up, snarling and raising her hackles as her stupid limp leg just made it harder for her. Dovins travelled in packs, often of 2-3 so if she came across one on her own, She'd be a goner. She heard the beaten footsteps and grumbled in anger as they neared. Flicking her lobe she turned around to see one in sight. She attempted to hobble away, considering the fact that she could not handle a battle at night, and Dovins lived to annoy and kill. Dangerous Little Assholes. She thought to herself, as the screams and cackles she heard already provoked Danielle. She turned compleely around. No Finnic Walks away from a fight when provoked. She cared not for her life, at least she'd be dying in a prideful way and not doing something embarassing like dying from drowning or falling. She began to run, swiftly lifting up her leg to stop it from dragging her down. She took deep breaths not to run out of air, as she then came raging forward to the large Dovin. She could see him clearly due to her adrenaline, even though the ground was dark. She lept up awkwardly and took a lunge past their horns, which were covered in skin. She snarled in fury as she noticed more sets of eyes. Uh oh. Two more Dovins appeared out of the darkness as she was thrown off of the other Dovin with quite ease. She at least made a mark, However. She felt the hot breaths of all Dovins a few feet away, as she rose up. She wasn't banged up badly, she landed on her elbows and scraped them but that isn't really much of a problem. She began to lunge again, but the Dovin beat her to it. He knocked her side and crushed her down, scratching the skin on her head. One eye was consumed in blood and she could only see black.

What did I get myself into?

Summer Meadow Empty Re: Summer Meadow

Before the portal
Denali raced through over the ice her mother right behind her it was in their sights. “We're almost!" there her mother yips. Denali nods and keeps running then the ice started to crack she felt it start to splinter under her paw “Run Denali!" Her mother shouts as the ice opens below her pulling her into the icy water. Denali watched in horror as her mother fell “Mother!" She runs to the opening trying to help her. “Go Denali I love you and will always be proud of you." Her mother barks before slipping under the icy water. Denali felt the ice beneath her crack she began running the ice below her shattered she made one last leap towards the portal.

On the other side
Denali grunts as she hits the ground her amber gaze darts around the field “Am I dead?" She wonders aloud. She takes her paw in her mouth and bites drawing blood “Nope not dead, then this must be the vale." She says quietly before walking. Denali made it a few steps before hearing the shreiks of a creature unknown to her, but then a scent hit her nose it was another wolf and there was blood too. Denali bolted towards the scents and came upon three creatures around the size of a bear. She realized with distant horror they were attacking a wolf. Denali leaped into action darting around the creatures to confuse them one looked dazed for a second and that was all she needed she leaped into its back the creature shreiked and thrashed but she held firm taking the back of its neck into her jaws and jerking her head to the side. Denali let go once she felt the bone snap. She rounded on the other two taking the same approach but they seemed to figure it out one swiped its claws at her raking red stripes down her side she growls as it moves on top of her with a burst of strenght she rams her body under neath it knocking the creature of its feet. She locked her jaws on its throat and didn't let go until she felt its heart stop. The other creature seeing this seemed to have left the scene. Denali turned her amber gaze to the wolf helping her to her paws. “You ok?" She pants.

Denali, I like the way you came into battle but please no powerplaying. You literally just took down two bear-like creatures single-handed. I'll edit your posts saying that the Dovins were injured- yet still functionable and will go in for another hit. Just don't act like the beast is a rabbit. Dovins are very large and can crush a wolf, and they don't have the same structural system as earth creatures do, along with tougher skin and fur.

They are extremely hard to injure.

Summer Meadow 6p8gih
The new world was.. dissimilar to earth.

It was pretty confusing and startling once he first crossed into Vale, but after a few days he seemed to sort of get the hang of things. Being as distrustful as he was, he tried to avoid confronting with any animals resembled predators - claws, teeth, the whole Enchilada he avoided due to the fact that he was alone and lone wolves had a low chance of surviving on Earth - let alone Vale.

The wolf was silently stalking through the grass and meadow flowers that were tinted a dark red, when the smells hit his nostrils all at once. Dovins, and wolves. He stopped in place, his paws staying still as he lifted his head with his ears perked forward, his grey, furry tail parallel to the ground as it was held out straight behind him. His position was akin to that of a lion, gazing across the Savannah from its hiding place. Only this wasn't the Savannah.

The fact that there were wolves there registered just as prominently as the fact that there was more than one Dovin present. Don't be an idiot. Being in a pack is more helpful than being alone. He snapped inwardly to himself before kicking off with his hind legs and loping forward just as he heard the noise of a fight going on. By the time he got there and was standing next to the two wolves, one of the Dovins was already injured, just as one out of the two wolves that were there.

You okay?

Please. Did she look okay?

"She's just wonderful, can't you tell from the blood covering her face? Watch out. There's more than one Dovin and the one you got seems to be thoroughly pissed off." You didn't need to look at Sparrow to know that his voice was dripping with sarcasm.

Speak of the devil, the injured one let out a growl mixed with a groan type of noise that herd animals made. Jumping over the fallen female, he covered her with knowledge that she would get hurt if she was struck while she was down. Pulling back the skin of his teeth revealing his canines, he let out a rumbling growl, and as he took a few paw steps forward the Dovin with his ears perked and his muscles tensed, eyes flickering between each one. The one to his right took a swipe with a massive paw, claws glinting in the evening red color and Sparrow managed to evade it, jumping to his left. It didn't stop - it went one more time, dipping its head and managed to scrape its horn across Sparrow's shoulder, revealing a sharp burn of pain that seemed to sizzle in its sharpness. Letting out an rageful snarl, Sparrow snapped his jaws at it and managed to nip the corner of its eye as it pulled its head back.

Well, at least he nipped the thing in the eye. That might only succeed in making it more angry, however.

"She's just wonderful, can't you tell from the blood covering her face? Watch out. There's more than one Dovin and the one you got seems to be thoroughly pissed off."

The voice of a male of such an attitude gave her a very reluctant grin. This boy, Whoever he was, Was her style. She loved the sarcasm in him and how he stole the exact same words out of her mouth before she said them. AND the fact that he covered for her.  Absolutely Enticing. She thought slowly in her mind, but brushed the thought away as quickly as she got up. And that was mighty fast after the male had injured his shoulder, Danny instantly picking up after him and butting the most sensitive part of the Dovin- his chest. It knocks the air out of the large animal's small lungs, resulting in injury. "I hate these things!" she huffed. She focused on another Dovin, one whom seemed to charge at them full speed. They had stiff feet, almost like a small elephant with claws, but the scratch of these animals hurt, and that was what she felt after the beast knocked her off her feet. She was fine, just some instant bruising. She lifted up her leg once again and paused for a breath, which resulted in another Dovin to charge after her, Horn ready. She quickly ducked under the animal, but the horns did scrape her backside. She aimed once again for the chest and the nape, this time biting down hard. the boi was ded. lik dis if u cry evry time The Dovin shrieked and the sound painfully filled her poor ears, as he hung his tail down and scampered off.

Two left now. She took a breath of relief as the fight was 1/3 over. She rose up again, this time slower, checking in on her two companions. Her eyes flickered as she glanced at the male, whom definetly was is a bit of trouble. That scrape looked like a bit much, but then again so did hers. She raced after the Dovin, assisting the male by grabbing one of the Dovin's burly paws and shoving it to it's side slowly. She then took a chunk under the stomach, only to be weakly pushed off by the other, younger Dovin.

She looked at the youth in simpathy, thinking of her stillborns. "We don't have to kill them. Just get them off of us." She spoke to the group.

Nessa bolted into the meadows she could see the faint outlines of wolves in the distance. The slender female approached on silent paws. She saw a rather attractive male a female and Danny. She saw an opportunity and she took it she ran in front of the creature forcing its attention onto her when it was focused she ran smiling when it followed her. Nessa could hear the dovins claws scraping against the ground she hoped the others would get the message that she was bait and they would attack it while she had its attention on her. The creature swiped one of its huge paws know king her feet out from under her. She fell with a cry. She thrashed under the creature trying everything she could to get free she DG her claws into its belly but to no availe “A little help here!" She shouts “Or just stand there and keep talking whatever works for you!" She added her accent coming strong on a few words she hoped her sarcasm would go noticed. The dovin seemed to know what she was thinking and placed its large paw on her chest. Bandit please just this once I would be glad if you disobeyed me..... she thinks knowing his size and strength would make him more of a challenge for the creature on top of her.

Post by BloodMoon Tue Dec 16, 2014 7:56 am

Bloodmoon moved through the meadow on silent paws. Looking around she spotted a creature attacking a wolf while others where there. The red fae bolted forward moving swiftly. Leaping she closed her jaws into its flesh snarling as she dug her claws into its leg tugging at its shoulder. The Neko could taste the blood from the predator flowing in her mouth as it also started to coat her paws. Pushing sharply she felt part of the flesh separate itself and the female spun landing heavily before spring away as the dovins paw swept at her. Her cold amber eyes watched as it turned towards her and she spat out the flesh that was in her jaws. The red Neko snarled crouching down to spring as it roared.

The female snarled briskly as the wound opened up hard on her back and paw. Her dead leg was perfectly fine, but she couldn't say that for her back muscle and her eye. Both of them bled, and she felt the crustyness of the crimson liquid cover her thick pelt and trace down her elbows and paws. Whenever she took a step, a bloody pawprint would imprint on the ground. It didn't make much of a difference as the ground was already crimson, but as it grew to morning you would see the dried up version of blood. She snarled in vexation, rising up after falling over from the younger Dovin, whom was being attacked by BloodMoon. Wolves from the other classes seemed to join in on the battle, including Lunesta. That was one of the things that benifitted three ally packs whom were together. When say one alpha was away, the pack could stay at another territory. Or if another pack was in trouble, on came the other members from different packs.

Her eyes darted torwards all of the group, as she took another breath. Then, she raised herself up and jumped atop of one of the Dovins. She scraped her teeth deeply into the older Dovin's back, which was rather hard to do considering she had such deep skin. The adrenaline she had in her gave her no sympathy, as she kicked it once it stumbled to it's side, As she then gave it over to BloodMoon and Sparrow, for them to kick it. She shook off a bit of the heavy blood off of her body and spattered it on the ground. I'm fine. She mumbled to herself, taking in more deep, long breaths as others got their share of the battle. She huffed as she sat down a bit, her vision fading yet she still watched everyone, Making sure that everything was under control. If anyone needs help or when I am attacked, I Fight. She glanced over at Lunesta, as her eyes flickered in Fury as she was in trouble. Time to go. She rose up with a snarl and began to trot intensively torwards them, as fast as she could go before she rammed the Dovin by it's side, pushing it hard enough so it could fall over. She grabbed the scruff of Lunesta and lifted her up without a moment wasted, as she then kept the younger beast at bay. "You and your little crew started this fight." She snarled, covering her jaw under his chin and letting one of her canines grip one of his eyes. Then the flailing began. He screamed and roared in fury as he started to attempt to tear Danny off, in which he succeeded, and threw her down to the ground. She scraped her side hard as she dragged down on the floor, hitting her head on a stone.

Everything went black. Just like that, she was knocked out. Deep, slow breaths and panic began to set in. She couldn't protect. She what happened? What if someone got hurt and she couldn't push the beast off of them?

What about him?

Post by Lunesta Tue Dec 16, 2014 3:50 pm

Lunesta watched in horror as the dovin pushed harder on her chest breathing was hard darkness formed at the edges of her vision. All of a sudden she saw a blur come at her and shove the creature away. Nessa was jerked up by her scruff by Danny and watched as she ripped into the dovin. “Danny look out!" She shouted but it was to late she watched as her friend was thrown off the creature. Seeing Danny fall she leapt with a roar her claws digging in to the dovin's weaker under belly it jumped and screeched knocking her off in the process. Nessa prepared to jump again her sea blue eyes so on fire with fury that she didn't even notice the dovin swing its massive paw until it was to late she was midair when it hit, the force of the blow knocking the wind out of her as she was sent flying backwards. She smacked off of a rock and skidded to a halt a few very away. She gasped for breath her side hurt and was that her blood on the ground? Nessa lifted her head to see her side ripped open from the center of her back to her flank she was loosing blood fast. She tried to crawl to her fallen friend she made it a few meters from where she began a crimson streak trailing behind her. Lunesta could see Danny bit she couldn't get to her she went strong enough. She closed her eyes and gave way to the darkness.
Her thoughts raced most of her pack. Bandits lovely amber eyes Felune's kind spirit. But the last thought was what will happen to them, then the darkness took her under.

Bloodmoon watched as two of the faes who she had not yet meet where knocked out. When they dovins paw hit the black females side she raced forward slipping under its leg and latching onto it neck, trying to crush its windpipe as she lifted into the air and it's legs closed around her. A muffled yelp left the red Neko as her hind legs dug into it underbelly churning and ripping the flesh open. The dovin dropped crying out with pain as it lost its blood from the wounds. Moon let go and rolled away from it as it staggered off, racing away. It's friend seeing it was outnumbered turned a left but not before lashing out at Moons hindleg opening wounds on the right. The blow sent her staggering and the Neko fell with a snarl and a thud pain running through her body.

Summer Meadow 6p8gih
The new world was.. dissimilar to earth.

Everything happened all at once. When the female and Sparrow had successful driven one of the Dovins off, a little relief blossomed in his chest before it was squashed by the immediate thought there there was still two more left. Swiveling his head to the left to see another wolf that he hadn't seen beforehand run as bait before getting attacked and pinned down, he rolled his eyes at her outburst before kicking off with his legs to go assist the female. But before he could make it very far, the female that he had covered for beforehand was already taking care of it.

Before he knew it the wolf that seemed to be the leader sent the older dovin his way, his head lowered menacingly. His ears perked forward and Sparrow widened his stance in order to attain more balance, his tail parallel to the ground. Snarling, Sparrow sprinted forward and threw his weight forward as he lifted his paws and kicked the dovin that was currently on it's side, keeping it from getting up. He kept it up, finally bumping his head into the animal's chest and sinking his teeth, deep, into multiple places for no more than 2 seconds so he couldn't get attacked or thrown off.

The Dovin he was working on was getting more and more tired and frustrated, but then he looked over and he saw two females on the ground, unconscious. Giving another snarl, he didn't even give it a second thought as he ran over and began to attack the youngster. He didn't just bite one place, however, - no. He used a different tactic that he had used on the older one - he bit one vulnerable place, hard, then let go and ran to another spot and repeated the process, so he would be constantly moving and his leg was protesting in pain like nothing he had ever known before - he felt the pain like a stick lodged inside his leg, he ran through it. Others had it worse than him, after all.

The young dovin was extremely confused and didn't seem to know what he was doing, making roaring noises of frustration and cries for its mother that was currently struggling to stand up.

He was winning.

There were no dreams, just darkness. Nessa was alone with her thoughts, she couldn't help but wonder if this was how death felt. Cool and peaceful darkness. Was this the peace that her family felt? Nessa tryed to force herself awake but she couldn't find her way out of the darkness. Was this the end? Was she going to die? No she couldn't die! The pack needed her. Her pack. The thoughts of her pack were enough to force her back to reality. Nessa's blue eyes afire with anger and new strength she attempted to stand it took two tries before she could, the darkness threatened to take her over again but she wouldn't let it. She staggered over to Danny and covered her body with her own in a protective way. Her head and limbs felt heavy the four parallel gashes on her side poured fresh blood with each beat of her heart something has been severed but she didn't care, if she was going to die she was going to go down a hero. Nessa pushed her nose into Danny's throat checking for breath or a pulse. After seeing she was alive she turned her gaze to the male who was obviously injured. The darkness covered most of her vision causing everything to appear blurred she didn't know how much longer she could stay awake.

Summer Meadow Empty Re: Summer Meadow

Post by Bandit Wed Dec 17, 2014 8:21 pm

Bandit trekked through the unknown, uncharted territory at ease, with his other comrade near him; Felune. Knowing that the obsidian female would blend in nicely, Bandit's coat, however - may not. His bronze pigment was an illuminating figure in the spot of any light during this time of the day. Knowingly the ground wore a sanguine tone, he didn't mind the flow of the colors, since still it was a puzzling manner in his head. He couldn't wrap his mind around this ravishing environment. Taking light steps, the source of smell reached his nostrils and the shrieking afar alerted him. Growls, snarls and even loud grunts echoed and it was by other creatures he never heard before that reached his weak eardrums. 'Are those the Dovins Lunesta mentioned to me about?' the male pondered as he halted in a dense portion of foliage and surveyed his surroundings. The two canines were reaching the destination and he could see faint outlines of wolves brawling with these large, towering creatures with his dark amber optics.

Even though he was here to support their leader that left hesitantly, the other wolves seem to be in the area; together standing strong. He saw a female with some ivory markings laying limp on the ground, that wasn't his leader but a canine risking their life to fight. Then there were other canines as well, those he never gazed upon. Lastly, Bandit found his leader slowly arose off the terrain; she was injured by the looks of her trembling, weak legs and physique. "Felune!" a sharp whisper left the male's parted maw as his gaze looked around for the female. His tone of voice was sharp and concerning, he wanted to bolt out into the exposure to give hospitality to his leader, but seeing other canines and the creatures he wasn't that much of a quick-thinker. Though, as the time ticked by, the large, muscular male bolted from his pin-point location and into the chaotic scene.

These large, dare-devil predators were as large as a grizzly back at his homeland. Their pigment looked thick and heavy, he wouldn't be able to attentively allow his incisors to reach deep into it's flesh, but he would need to navigate the one adult away from Nessa. As the other canines in the area occupied a juvenile nearby, bandit pushed himself forward with a low snarl and curled tarred gums to find himself face-to-face with the adult. His paws moved from his statue posture and his weight full throttle towards the legs, his jowls grasped hold of a paw that was exposed. Snarling he tugged and bit down hard enough to wear his fangs made a vulnerable puncture into it's ankle. Even if he released, the creature was able to swipe it's other paw towards him with a roar and bandit was aimed hard at his face, taking the injury from his left jaw and upwards. Stretching his well, muscled legs he flashed back a snarl with his hackles above in a defiant matter towards the beast, there was snapping he was persistent with, even if the Dovin stepped forward, he made it clear that he wasn't debating about fleeing anytime soon. receptors heated with frustration, pinned back as he stepped back towards Lunesta, only to hope to gather it's attention on him as he slowly trailed around it.

Summer Meadow Empty Re: Summer Meadow

Post by Lunesta Wed Dec 17, 2014 8:46 pm

Lunesta watched the chaotic scene unfold before her it was a mess of wolves and beast blood and claws fur and fang. She was barely holding onto reality. She saw an ashen female with a bronze colored male she reazilzed belatedly that they were Bandit and Felune. Her eyes lit up when she saw Bandit coming towards her. Nessa watched as he attacked the dovin its horrid screeching filled her ears as he ripped into its flesh. “Go for the underbelly or the nape of its neck those points are the weakest." She said in a voice so quiet she wasn't sure if he would be able to hear her. “Felune take Danny away from here!" She said her voice low and urgent hoping the female would hear. She stood on legs that could hardly support her weight Nessa made it a few feet towards Bandit wanting to help him but the darkness took her back under her legs gave out as her body fell limply to the ground her vibrant blue eyes fell closed as she reentered the dark realm.

Summer Meadow Empty Re: Summer Meadow

Oof.

Danny felt a force lay on top of her, about the size of a rather large wolf. She was vaguely uncontious, but she could wake up if she had the willpower. At the time she was unaware of her senses, and no this was not like sleep paralysis. She was just floating into nothing. Until that black turned into a hazy grey.... and then she heard voices. Shouts, Almost. "Get Danny out of here!" Lunesta had shouted to the group, and then her mind started to meld into thought. She twitched, and then she saw again. Most of the blood escaped from her cornea, thanks to her generated tears. However a faint tint of red she could still see when she opened that eye. She chuffed, and that chuff turned into a sputtering cough. She was rarely suprised, as of course it was Lunesta who was shouting in Danny's ear.

"Get.... Off of me." She managed to spit out, her head rising vaguely to see the scene around her. But soon, Nessa had gotten up to join the fight. "One left, and it looks like the whole crew is here. Just finish him off and we'll be done with this. We need to get back on watch." Her voice cleared up a bit and she lifted up her head to notice the pack. The strange male who covered her had been attacking the remainding youth with such anger. Was he grieving? Is that why he's so brutal? No, His sarcasm was of the fact that he liked doing it, not that he was suffering. Then came Bandit, who joined in on the youth and started jumping the poor fool, like some bully who got what was coming for him in school. Danny began to rise, shimmying up slowly in order to save strength. She too, began to beat the youth hard on it's chest, sides and tail, until she gave one huge blow down onto the animal's head. That made the poor thing stagger backwards, stare in bewilderment and fear, until he stumbled off to where his family went. She spit in frustration, Rising to the tip of her toes and regaining full vision.  She could almost move her dead leg again, but only in little twitches. Maybe she'll recover.

Or maybe not.

She slowly and quietly walked up next to the male whom saved her life for no reason. She dipped her head, and let out a small smirk. "Didn't quite catch your name, oh fine hero." she turned her head to focus on leaderly matters before she could flirt, However. "Is everyone alright? Sif will camp in our den on Bone Mountain for now, until we get their wounds patched up and it's light out." She turned back to the male and nudged him a bit on his good shoulder. "You should come with us, It's not safe here and I'm guessing you only got here a short while ago. Speaking of, How's earth? Near death?" she spoke to him, turning around onto his other side where he injured his shoulder and his leg, the female began to lick the wounds. Although it may seem odd, but wolf saliva gets rid of bacteria and helps healing faster, and is often how most pack members care for their other. Plus, You apply pressure when you lick it using your tongue in hard strokes. Finishing off, the examined the wound. Bleeding seemed to stop, which was very good. As for the leg...She'll handle that one later.

Bandit knew the distance between him and the youth was tight, even though the adolescent didn't know what was happening. He was already being attacked by one canine and then another? "Hmph", the bronze wolf stayed back and snapped at the air again before hearing the voice of Lunesta giving him internal advice of the areas to strike. Of course, the nape, a vulnerable area for most predators at this age were not broad and with a low grunt and parted jowls, he went for the aim. The target was wide open and as his hind legs sprung away from the turf fast, his ivory incisors made contact with the thick growth of its hide was filled into his mouth, though he did recognize the taste that gave his adrenaline some jitter. The weight he held was towering over the predator, enough to allow him and the other male canine to enforce themselves to fend this creature away, straining him was first and foremost and weakening from further thrashes. However, with tight grasps of his jaws tucked away with heavy force, he eventually reeased, seeing how limp he started to feel. Bandit didn't know too much of this other male, he was average and yet he remembered what he came here for and turned slowly away.

His leader was in one spot as he arrived here and now she was in another? He allow his paws to carry him over to her slowly, his concern for her condition was high as he surveyed the side, her eyes closed; unconscious. Perking his receptors at the other female nearby, with the illuminating ivory markings spoken upon the presence of our clan. With her mentioning of Sif, Bandit knew the only way to escort his leader was to hoist her up on to his back with her physique dangling parallel. Even though he didn't come here alone, he looked around for a moment for Felune, in wonder if the female even followed him this far...

Bloodmoon heaved herself up as another wolf attacked the dovin and she snarled. "They were leaving." the red Neko snapped. She limped over to the youngster and finished it off as it lay there. The mother was weakening and the bleeding fae left splatters of blood as she moved over to her and killed it as well. The blood of the predators made the fae look completely red with only her amber eyes breaking it up. They looked around coldly before huffing. "You need to pack their bleeding wounds with cobwebs to slow it down and try and stop it. Marigolds chewed up with [/b]clean[/b] mouths will stop infection." she told the standing wolves as she moved away from the carcasses and dropping to the ground to look at the claw wounds on her hindleg with a growl.

BloodMoon, before you act all badass and be Katniss Everdeen could you actually read the posts? The mother ran away and the child staggered off into the darkness, doubtly going to get far. We did not kill them in cold blood, just actually read each post word by word before just jumping into rp without a care in the world.

Summer Meadow Empty Re: Summer Meadow

Summer Meadow 6p8gih

Sparrow was doing well despite his injuries. The poor young dovin was getting injured and was trying to get away, and that only multiplied by 10 when another male - bigger than himself, and with what looked like black mask over his eyes - ran over and began helping him. He looked completely healthy, so he had a little more muscle and power than Sparrow. But Sparrow was quick. When the Dovin and her young had successfully been run off, Sparrow's breaths came out heavily and with a slow rhythm. He hadn't been in a fight like that in quite some time.

Didn't quite catch your name, oh fine hero.

"Name's Sparrow. And what can I call you?" The females voice was enjoyable to listen to, he had to admit. She wasn't ugly either, but rather good looking. When Sparrow spoke to this wolf - since he wasn't being sarcastic - his voice wasn't harsh, it was gentler but his voice always carried a sense of finality to it whenever he spoke. Like when he said something - that was that. It was just his normal voice.

Is everyone alright? Sif will camp in our den on Bone Mountain for now, until we get their wounds patched up and it's light out. You should come with us, It's not safe here and I'm guessing you only got here a short while ago. Speaking of, How's earth? Near death?

"Oh, you know, the usual desolate wasteland." The sarcasm was thick in this one, once again, a little smirk on his face but this smirk did not carry anything positive in it. It carried a bitterness, as did it drip in his voice as well. It was a miracle he even survived as long as he did on Earth. It had been an ice age, everything covered in snow and ice and cold things everywhere, so the wolves with much darker pelts were killed off thanks to natural selection. He grew up running, whether it was after something or from something. There were not enough prey animals to go around, so the bears and the predatorily cats had started hunting anything smaller than them - which meant wolves. Food was scarce, and there hadn't been a day in his life that he wasn't in pian from starvation and hadn't shown at least 3 rib bones clearly through his fur. It had been complete anarchy.

It was only when he came to Vale that he filled out for the first time in his life. He had gorged himself on Gonks and Flees and for the first time he actually couldn't see his ribs. It was a strange feeling, having as much muscle as he did - which was still average for a wolf, but for him it was more than he ever had. Nevertheless, he didn't like to talk about his past on Earth.

"Let's just say I'm better off here than I ever was there. This is actually the first time in my life I can't see any of my ribs through my fur." He spoke to the female, truthfully. And stayed still when she began to lick his wounds. That felt good.

"Your wounds look pretty bad, but they'll heal." At that, he leaned forward and licked one of her wounds on her face - that should do it. He leaned back, and looked around at the other wolves. "What're your names?" Or should I just stick with dumb and dumber? He thought to himself, thinking of the wolf that had turned her back completely on three enraged dovins at the beginning to ask if her leader was okay, when she was clearly injured, and the other female wolf who had attracted the dovin's attention all to herself and then cried out for help when she got attacked. Like honestly, what did she think was going to happen?

When Nessa regained consciousness she was on Bandits back she remained there for a moment more before her vision cleared long enough for her to get off. She slid from his back landing on silent paws she gave a brief nod of thanks before turning her attention to the new male"What're your names?" He said in a polite tonethough his eyes told a different story .Even though she had only been misko for a few hours his overconfidence struck a nerve within Nessa “My name is Lunesta misko of Sif." She says trying to be calm though the strain in her voice proved otherwise, her cool ocean blue eyes burning with anger. Nessa felt like a fool being hung up on this matter when there were other serious problems at hand one major one being the whereabouts of Felune. After a moment Nessa made her way back to Bandit she sat on the crimson land and began to lick her wounds after some time the bleeding slowed and she was able to clean the blood from her pelt, the taste of her own blood was strange but eventually her pelt became black as night once more she turned to Danny “Thanks but I think we'll make it home alright." She nudged Bandit turning and padding on silent paws back to the Sif territory.
